1. 'Palestinians' in the 1940s included all Arabs, Jews and Christians who lived in the region coined Palestine. Many Jews had been there for generations.

2. Are you aware of the horrific attacks that Arabs launched on the Jews many times over the decades preceding the Partition Plan?

3. I don't disagree that the amount of bloodshed for the current people known as the Palestinians has been horrific but do you really think it's all because of Israel, ie, the Jewish state? Was there not something in the process of creating an independent Jewish state that went wrong, for whatever reason? There may be a lot wrong with the way the state was established in a region where they were adamantly resisted but should the Jewish people, who did have rights to live and exist also, be again herded off to somewhere else, to another place where they may not be welcomed? Sure, I would not like to set up home in a place where people actively hated me but is it my fault that they hate me, despite the fact that they don't even know me?
