Alcohol is a culture. As soon as you step away from that culture, you don't see the appeal anymore.

I literally cannot see the appeal of getting really drunk and yet that's what people like to do for an evening's entertainment. And I'm not teetotal. I just don't care to be drunk. Or to have that feeling of alcohol constantly in my body. As soon as I'm around people who consider getting hammered to be the goal of an evening, I drift away.
