Both of these were loved by my girls!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) and The Wizard of Oz (1939) we also introduced around this time. Both children loved the latter in particular, though neither got scared of the Wicked Witch of the West (as a small, sadistic part of me had hoped). Still, that green makeup continues to terrify. My aforementioned younger brother informs me his son was properly traumatised by her, to the point that he wouldn’t sleep in a room with green walls.

Both of these were loved by my girls! I don't remember how many times we watched Chitty Bang Bang's first take off but it was many.
