Damn, that was good!

My sister and I (ages 50 and 47 respectively) have begun referring to our daughters (16 and 17) as menopausal when they start being little grizzle heads. Somehow, it provides much needed humour and relief from dealing with our own current time of life.

I have been wholly fascinated by the perimenopause concept. I still haven't experienced "symptoms" as such - nothing you could specifically define as being related to hormonal changes. Yet I am told that doesn't mean that I'm not in perimenopause. And, in fact, I probably am. And that's okay. I'm happy to take it without the symptoms :)
