Drashti, your remorse over it shows what a conscientious and caring person you are. I also think you are giving yourself too hard a time over it. From what I have read, the Irish government has made some very stupid decisions regarding property and, meanwhile, there are hundreds of thousands of houses lying empty. If all those houses were suddenly put on the market for sale, and they brought some useful policies in over property ownership, it would soon bring the cost of property and rents down.
