Especially when it comes to pubs, why would we consider that a child-free pub is a bad thing? Child-free can also be so because it's not a suitable place for children, which is absolutely fair enough. If I'm going somewhere with my children, I would want to be somewhere family-friendly, not somewhere unsuitable. Then again, I say "children" but only one is underage now anyway...sigh...
