Ezeh yofi! I think it's lovely that you're learning it now. I hope you get to visit Israel again soon and spend some time being able to practise over there. When I was 18, I spent a few months living and working in a bar in Tel Aviv. I became reasonably fluent during that time - at least in the kind of language I needed in my job and from day to day.
