From everything I read, the UK is far more “reshaped normal” than the abnormal you are describing in the US. We’ve updated life since the lockdowns but we generally live pretty normal lives again. Yes, we have Covid but at the moment at least, no one is worrying about getting it and merely accepting that we may well catch it when it’s doing the rounds.
