Generally, it’s obvious to me if an author has ‘alerts’ flagged by grammarly that they have deliberately left, such as the English/American spelling and also placement of commas, which are often bad suggestions from grammarly. I usually don’t make corrections and simply ask the author to run a grammarly check if it’s clear that they haven’t done so already.
