Great advice, Dr. Ki.
I have no personal experience, nor any qualifications, but I do have 2 friends who discuss their OCD behaviour together and laugh at the crazy fears their minds conjure up. They aren't belittling themselves, or discrediting their very real fears by doing so, but it is enabling them to separate their fears from the real people that they are, and I think it helps them a little to have someone to help mirror these feelings and bounce off. Plus, seeing the funny side of anything can help to release the stress that comes with OCD. So, I guess my little word of advice would be to find a buddy to talk with on a regular occasion, as well as the therapy.
