Haha! This article spoke to me because I am having to prepare my son for a selective school test next year and the vocabulary list is utterly ridiculous. He's nine and was learning "litigation" and "sanctimonious" the other day. "Bipartisan" is on the list too, like when the fuck is he EVER going to use the word "bipartisan" in a sentence in the next five years, if ever?

Now I need to teach him "etui" because I am sure it's going to be much more useful that any of the 1,800 words we are working through.
