Hey Sieran, yes unfortunately the claps follow you all the way down the page now, so you can clap and leave at any time. There has been the odd occasion recently when I haven't managed to get to the end but have read most of an article, and so I clap, because I want to show my appreciation nonetheless. I suspect it happens now and then. There have also been times when I thought I had reached then end but hadn't.

One of those times that Meg's read didn't get registered, I had literally scrolled all the way to the bottom of the photo at the end of my story, just not past it, so that it wouldn't officially be at the end. Yet I had read it all and could have clapped.

As for the Android views - they have suggested articles show up on their home screen. I don't know what happens then but I have had a lot of Android views that are "external" so we don't get paid unless they sign up for an account later (within a month). I wouldn't worry too much about them. If your articles are being suggested, you are doing great. I have had stories with mostly external views earn me more than many with lots of internal views, reads and claps.
