Before I begin this story, let me state how useful the “Find My Phone” feature is on Apple devices…if you actually use it, that is….
However, if you are like me and overlook the value of these services, you may need a niece like mine accompanying you. One with X-ray vision or, at least, really good intuition.
I am currently on holiday in the city of Porto in Portugal with my dad, my sister, my kids, and my nephews and niece. Yesterday, we ventured out on foot to take in some of the sights of the city.
It is an incredibly beautiful city with a mixture of traditional old architecture, attractive, painted tile-fronted houses, red-tiled rooves, steep roads, green spaces, and the wide Douro river, dividing the main city on the northern side from the Douro wine and Port industry on the southern side. We wanted to take in the sights in the older parts and see some of the arty side of Porto, much of which is visible along the streets, covering walls.
