I absolutely agree! I don’t know why anyone would bother going to the cinema only to keep looking at their phone. What’s the point?
Being someone who goes to live performances quite a lot, I see cinema in a similar vein. Even though the film isn’t live, it’s still damn rude to start looking at your phone when someone’s work of art is playing out in front of you.
