I agree, Deb. But, yes, I reckon it's a pipe dream.

For the last couple of years, I let my son choose where he spends Christmas Day and it works best that way. As for me, I was brought up Jewish and we only ever celebrated Christmas if we went to spend it with relatives who celebrated. It's not a big deal for me but for the children, it's special, and I love to mark it for that reason more than anything. Not to mention that I like fairy lights and decorations 😉😁
