I agree! I have thought long and hard about the whole make up thing and I just don't see that it has to be made into a vanity thing anyway.

We love to use colour all day long to brighten up our worlds and make art. Why is painting a face...or nails...so different? I don't believe it is. It's simply fun if we want it to be.

And yes, I do go out without make up on too! I prefer having it on because I like the way my eyes look with some eyeliner and mascara. But it's no deal breaker to go out without.
