I am a dual citizen and my mother is Israeli. I know many Israelis who have no desire to be fighting (including my own relatives) and many who are deeply upset by the far-right fundamentalist party of Netanyahu and their actions. At this point it's vital to make the distinctions between the countries (Israel and Palestine) and their leaders (Hamas and Netanyahu).
