I am British-born with an Israeli mother. She still mispronounces things after more than 45 years of living here.

I don't feel like I am ever forgetting Brexit. It is staring me in the face most of the time. My good friend, who is German, felt so shat on by her own friends when the referendum happened, since some of them voted to leave.

I didn't and think it was the most stupid thing that has ever happened in this country in my lifetime. That's what happens when you put a load of Etonite Bullingdon Boys in charge of the country. Raised to be selfish and totally blind to true humanity.

I write creative nonfiction essays and poetry. Rethinking life through my words. Sometimes too seriously, sometimes not seriously enough.
