I am British - I spent 3 days in the US and it was enough! I once listened to a podcast in which a British woman described what it was like living in Denmark. While it’s very expensive compared to the UK, so are the salaries, and EVERYTHING has been designed to create balance and enhance the quality of life. Quite honestly, despite sounding a bit too organised for my comfort levels, it sounds like perfection. I can completely understand what your husband must feel.
