I am so sorry that you went through this, Purbita. Navigating all the regulations of travel has made it not worth it to me. I have never been more grateful for my own couch and Netflix.

My daughter set off on her first trip abroad alone yesterday and couldn't get on her flight because of a problem with her lateral flow test. Luckily she could get a later one, but I don't know whether she had to spend extra on a new flight ticket.

I have always loved travelling and the thought of doing any right now feels like it could spoil it for me.
