I appreciate you, Jenny, for writing this and sharing YOUR truth.

My own experience of being part of publications with boosting capabilities is that it has changed the essence of what we do as a pub. I love being able to make a difference for writers deserving of being seen but I have really started missing that feeling of people simply writing for the joy of it and having their voices and writing honoured in the way they once were. Not for the boost, merely because they have something important to them to say.
