I battle with this daily. Worse are the friends whom I know are aware that there is hypocrisy in their disregard for the hostages and the acts of Hamas, and when they attend rallies in London where speakers call for many more October 7ths. It makes me sick to my stomach that they continue shouting the same rhetoric as if they are playing the role of some hero or another and choosing to ignore the people they are knowingly backstabbing because it's easier not to bother answering to us.
