I completely agree. It's something probably most parents do anyway because there are many reminders throughout life of what life used to be like. At least we do. We look at books and films and comment on what has changed in beliefs, social structure, the use of language, and film production all the time. And it's the best way to learn what real challenges people have faced over time.
