I feel for you. It's no fun being far from family at these times, even when you are in paradise. My sister and family were in the Philippines when the world locked down. In august last year they managed to get a flight to France, and shipped all of their belongings and pets too. They had years' worth of household furniture and belongings collected, and five dogs. They went to France because they owned a house there, but a year later they still feel completely isolated because of the lockdowns, and overwhelmed with the changes and challenges they have endured, and they are still isolated from family. I know we will all see our way out of the other side eventually but for now we all have to ride these waves and do our best to stay on top.
