I get your point. But then we get to the details that make this debate entirely impossible. There are conventions that many have grown up with for their entire lives. All main clothing brands still use conventional clothing sections, ie, women, men, and kids. I have no problem with people choosing to throw all conventions to the wind but I do have a problem with people demanding that everyone drops all the conventions that have harmed no one... unless you consider recent perceived harm because someone called someone who looks female wearing women's clothing a "she"? My point - by introducing new rules to society, should it really be imposed on everyone, in which case, what about the rights of those who want to continue being referred to by the same gender-specific pronouns they have always been referred to by, and are perfectly happy being referred to by? If we're talking about misgendering rights, where do they start and end?
