I have to confess, I have not grown a single vegetable in my current garden. Lots of strawberries and raspberries though. And I've grown mounds of veggies in the past. It's all about energy consumption and it would definitely take too much energy to try to battle the slugs here!

We can each do our bit but it's really up to wider society and those at the helm.
