I just hope that this attempt to work things out doesn’t end up causing you more pain. But, if he really does mean what he says, and you feel that you can open up to him again, then it will have been worth it. Just remember never to sacrifice your own happiness in the process. You deserve someone who both cherishes you, and you feel a joy from being around. Go after that which you deserve and nothing less.
