I know how impossible it feels. But...remember the Jewish people are strong. Someone sent me a podcast today that was the perfect antidote to the news about the aid workers. Three reservists who had previously signed to say they wouldn't serve if called up were interviewed. As they put it, there was no choice when October 7th arrived and they understood that their loyalty was to their people not to the government. They felt that the government was surplus to requirement in the way the Israeli people came together after October 7th and they feel that the strength of the nation has been tested and proven, despite the government almost destroying it.
