I know this feeling well. I adopted a dog who hates water in 2021 and that was the last summer I owned a paddle board. I sold it since it wasn't the same trying to enjoy paddle boarding while watching my dog sitting at the water's edge, waiting for me to return. I miss that feeling though - so wonderful.
