I met a guy who had a tattoo when he was going through some awful stuff, taking lots of drugs etc. He freaked out one day and ripped his skin off where the tattoo was. That has stuck in my memory so strong. The awful scars on his arm from doing that were horrific.

I've never had a tattoo but I have grown to appreciate them as quite beautiful art forms over the years.
