I once had a piece sitting in the drafts in Writer's Blokke for over a week before I finally pulled it and submitted to Coffee Times, and got published the same day. I don't know why I waited so long. I was fixated with publishing there. I haven't bothrered submitting there again since. I realise everyone is volunteering but god knows what caused my piece to just be sitting in the queue for so long.
