I started uni in 1994 and an American student came up to me asking me how we can access email. I was baffled and he had to explain it to me. A couple of months later, I discovered that I could use this thing and had my own college email address. I didn't have a computer of my own but I thought it was brilliant, sitting in the college computer rooms, messaging my mother who worked in another university and, hence, also had a uni email address! Wild times 😂
