I think this is a great idea. I have toyed with the idea of opening a Kofi account, and decided for now to just write and let the Medium gods reward me in their way. Unless, like Shannon Ashley, I had a specific cause to raise money for. But, if it was added as a universal feature it would be a lovely thing.
