I'm so glad you have reached that decision. I read a great quote yesterday that I forget but came down to something like "true courage is being willing to not conform". The more who are willing to refuse, the harder the work DT will have on his hands. And then hopefully, in four years, we can begin moving forward instead of backwards again. I say we because whatever happens in the US affects us all.
