I'm sorry this happened to you but glad that it was a one off. I think bullies will be bullies to anyone who looks like an easy or attractive enough target. Out of interest, how long have you lived in the UK now? And I agree, my own experience is that we are a diverse and multicultural community now in the UK, and, for the most part, everyone embraces it.
