Interesting that you grew up with a narcissistic mother and then attracted a narcissistic life partner. I have noticed that I typically have attracted narcissists into my close circle, and I am sure that it’s a result of being conditioned to desire to be in service to others without knowing how to set healthy boundaries, because that’s how I was taught to be. I have had to learn through harsh lessons.
