It's been I guess a couple of weeks of this. I think it's too soon to accuse Medium of not keeping promises. Perhaps they can be more transparent, but there is also the argument that too much transparency makes it easier to hack the system. I actually see it as Medium making it a really welcoming and easy place to land. That's probably one reason they run into trouble with hackers gaming the system more than other places? Though I don't really know that is the case for sure.
