My kids would be bored senseless on holiday with their grandparents too. But not even allowing you in the ocean - that's crazy! Mind you, my kids will not go in when there are jellyfish and it's only me who braves them!

The flight sounds awful - bad weather is my biggest fear on flights. Despite many long haul flights as a child, I am not a keen flier these days.
