Not wanting to gloat at my abilities or anything but I have managed to use and not abuse the same menstrual cup for thirteen years now. That just sounds insane, now I write it. So, once you have managed to get past the initial sterilisation process, they are worth every penny.

Oh, and it's now recommended by moon cup to only soak them in boiling water, not boil them. Ideally in a container especially for this purpose.

Hilarious story! I definitely prefer more seasonal, sweet smells that burning silicone.
