Oh damn, I wished I lived near you now. Yes, this friend has particularly aggravated me because she has not only been dismissive of a genuine desire to create understanding conversation but because we have mutual Israeli friends that I can't help feeling she is backstabbing. I think that may be why she didn't want to engage with me at all - because friendship has no place in today's dialogues :(
