Oh goodness! I am sorry to hear that. Although, there’s no reason why we ever have to fall out with friends over money. I have travelled with friends, spending most of our time together, dealt with paying for things, and money has never come between us at all. But, since I grew up with a mother who fell out with everyone around her over money, I am acutely aware of the possibility of it being the instigator of problems.
Yes I definitely think that there is a character trait that attracts narcissists. But I don’t think it’s outside of our control. The thing is to see the red flags and act on them.
