Oh man! That's grim. But definitely a true act of bravery!

Ladakh is somewhere I would have loved to have visited. I wanted to go over to Lahaul and Spiti when I was in the mountains in northern India but it was late April and still six weeks until the snow melted enough for the pass to open. I expect the height of summer is the perfect time :) Great photos!
