Oh my goodness, I so relate!

I have had writers share a link to a relevant piece by them, and often it's been very appropriate and I have been delighted to have the honour to read these pieces. But the meaningless ones that are pretty much a reveal that they didn't actually read anything of yours and then ask you to go to their profile - that's a different thing!
