Oh my, Klara! It sounds like me when I went to an event in Amsterdam a few years ago and was taken under the wing of a couple of Irish women - a mother and daughter duo. Yes, Irish. Yes, the mother followed me to the bar to make sure I didn't come away with only one glass of wine for myself but two, to save having to return too often.

I hadn't drunk that much in years and spent the rest of the night giggling and wobbling a lot.
