Okay, you've reminded me of a couple of crossings including one on a 3-hour catamaran crossing from the Hook of Holland to England. I don't get seasick so I literally sat surrounded by people hurling, including the people who worked on the boat. It was surreal. The next one wasn't a catamaran but the sea was hella rough and I had one daughter throwing up while the other just lay on the floor unable to move. Thankfully, a nice woman came and helped me move to a cabin and we survived.
