I had this experience on the train yesterday, sitting with 3 Keralans - from a place I know really well, or did 15 years ago. They asked me where I was from and I wasn’t sure what to answer. I replied that I am from Devon for ease, but I wasn’t convinced. But honestly, I don’t have a true answer to it.
