Short form articles have their place and can be great for helping writers to become super intentional with their words. I would say that you have learned a valuable lesson and I would also be wary about placing too much emphasis on the title being "optimised". It's more important that it reflects the content correctly so don't make it all about the title. Use short form for your enjoyment and your growth and let your long form articles do the bulk of your work for you :)
