So interesting. I do remember when my children had friends round and being unable to take in what I was saying. The only way was to get down to their level and make sure that I had all their attention before I spoke.
The first ever parenting book I read was by Steve Biddulph. It made a really big impression on me and is still imprinted 19 years later.
