So sorry to read this story, Sturg. And don't take this as judgment, since I have been guilty of it too, but phones have a lot to answer for. Many accidents are caused by people using their phones, or even just having their attention taken by a notification. These days it makes me furious to see drivers on their phones and I wish more people were caught and fined for it.
