I just read a story about a dear friend who has been called to do a very important thing. You can read this story here.
It’s not news to me for I have known for a while. But seeing it in writing made it real and, while there is a happy side to it, no, make that a wonderful side…there is also a sad side.
I have never met Liberty Forrest, Author in real life, as such, but I have met her on Zoom a few times now, and I will say with all my heart that I consider her to be a dear friend. In addition, knowing that she is in England made me feel like we were close enough to meet one day, being around a four-hour drive from me. That felt wonderful.
To be completely truthful, I felt like I had met a long-lost soul sister. And it lit a fire in me. Imagine how comforting it is to feel the physical closeness of one of your soul-sisters — someone who laughs about the same things as you do, has a similar outlook on life, has such a raw and beautiful perspective on the world, has unique skills and knowledge that she shares generously, and has a certain magic that is as pure as the day is long.
